Stretch Mark Removal

Stretch marks are caused by rapid stretching of the skin, often during puberty, pregnancy or through weight gain. When this occurs, tearing within the layers of the skin’s dermis layer causes red or purple marks to form on the skin, which then fade to white as time passes.

Stretch marks appear on any part of the body most often on the thighs, hips, bottom and abdomen, but can also form across the back, breasts and arms.

They’re very common, and though women make up the majority of sufferers, they do affect men as well. Genetics play a big factor, as low collagen levels in the skin makes it unable to adapt to changing body shape, making stretch marks are more likely to occur.

Stretch marks aren’t painful, but many people find them embarrassing and unsightly. They can be removed by microdermabrasion, lasers or a combination of treatments to restore the appearance of the skin and most importantly, confidence!

Stretch marks don’t have to be forever – treatment can reduce or eliminate the appearance of stretch marks through laser procedures, dermatological treatments or a combination of both.
